I had 3 procedures done at Bondi Plastic Surgery with Director Park Jung-il: cheekbones + square jaw + chin tip, plus muscle resection. Before surgery, my cheekbones were large and I often heard that my facial contour made my impression look strong, so I was stressed, but that stress is gone now and I’m very satisfied. I went around Gangnam Station for consultations at various places, but Bondi stood out and attracted me the most. First. The fact that it could be done under sedation anesthesia. I was really scared of and hated general anesthesia. It was the only hospital where facial contouring surgery could be performed under sedation. Second. I didn’t like the idea of having a lot of wounds inside my mouth, but they said it could be done through behind-the-ear incisions and minimal incisions inside the mouth? so I liked that too. Thinking about it now, I really feel like I made the right choice not having the surgery done inside the mouth under general anesthesia. When people have facial contouring surgery through the mouth, many say they are uncomfortable because of the wounds inside the mouth, eating is uncomfortable, and even after the wounds heal, the area feels bumpy, and the wound mucous membrane? area feels hard and tight, so it bothers them a lot and feels uncomfortable. Third. The consultation with the director was also really good. I felt like he was giving me a consultation tailored to me, and he gave realistic and sincere advice. I liked that it wasn’t a sugarcoated consultation, and from a patient + ordinary person’s perspective, he explained things kindly and clearly so they were easy to understand, which was the best. He showed me the CT and explained everything one by one in detail, and I think that was when I decided, ah, I should do it here. The consultation manager was also different from other hospitals, in that I didn’t feel pressured or pushed into surgery, which I liked, and they explained things professionally and well, so I liked that too. The hospital felt very private, and I really liked the feeling that I had received a consultation and surgery meant for me.
