I had the silicone removed from my nasal dorsum.. and had the nasal tip lowered.. This was a nose that had two previous rhinoplasties.. Whether it’s fortunate or unusual, before, even on day 1 after rhinoplasty, my forehead, glabella, and eyes would all swell up and I’d turn into a beast, but this time, even though I had surgery today, there’s no swelling around the surrounding areas at all.. Maybe because it was removing the silicone. But what scares me is.. As soon as I came to in the recovery room, I looked in the mirror, and they definitely said they removed the silicone, but my nose was still high. In some people’s reviews, they said as soon as they removed the silicone and looked in the mirror, it had suddenly collapsed, but why am I like this? Did they really remove it? Is there still silicone in my nasal dorsum? All sorts of thoughts are going through my mind... And I emphasized over and over that the nasal tip had to be lowered that much, so why do doctors obsess only over aesthetic standards rather than the patient’s opinion.. I chose naturalness rather than becoming prettier, and had this surgery thinking this would be the last one... Anyway, what I’m curious about is.. 1. Is it normal for the nose to become much lower right after silicone removal, or since there seems to be no swelling now, is this the height after removal.. 2. I’m curious whether the nasal tip can also go down somewhat from the height right after coming out of the operating room.. If my whole face were really swollen, I could at least think everything is swollen so the nose is swollen too, and once it subsides it will get lower and more natural. But right now there is no swelling at all around the surrounding areas, and it doesn’t seem like only my nose is swollen either, so I’m worried this height may stay as it is. I removed and corrected it because I hated the high, artificial-looking look, but what is this... sigh Please don’t just pass by and give me some replies.. I can’t sleep..
