I had rhinoplasty twice and had removal surgery this time. I’m really upset.. I removed the nasal cartilage, released everything that had been tied, and removed the silicone as well. Everything in my nose, everything that had been put into my nose, was taken out through an open approach. Maybe because of that, my face is very swollen, and now on day two I’ve become like Anpanman.
The pain was worse than I expected, and it was the most painful surgery I’ve had so farㅠㅠ Also, my nose shape looked the same after surgery, so I wondered if everything had really been removed. Originally I had no nasal bridge at all, and I had a little nasal tip, but for now it seems like the pre-surgery look remains more than my old original shape. Because I have taping on, it’s still hard to judge accurately.
Everyone, how long did you keep taping after removal surgery? I’m so curious right now.. How should I manage things after surgery? I’m doing cold/warm compresses and taking my medicine well, but when I lower my head or lie on my side, it feels like my nose is leaning to one side.. Scary..
I want to ask when swelling goes down after nasal silicone and cartilage removal surgery and when normal daily life becomes possible! Please reply!
