I got my nose implant removal done today

Before <side profile before removal> Before <front view before removal> After <side profile after removal> After <front view after removal> Today at 5, after worrying and thinking it over so much, I finally got it removed. Thankfully, they removed it with a closed approach in just one hour. When I first had the consultation, they said it had to be done with an open approach... but at the consultation on the day of surgery, they said it could be done with a closed approach. At first, they didn’t seem very keen on removing the septal cartilage, saying the shape of my nose could become very strange... But I was worried I might regret it again later, so I asked them to remove everything. There are a lot of people saying it’s not good to keep touching the nose. The biggest reason I wanted the implant materials removed was because the stiffness from the septal cartilage was so uncomfortable. So right after surgery, I touched the nasal tip, and it was soft and squishy like jelly. I was so happy lol As for swelling, the area between my eyebrows has been very swollen since right after surgery.. For those who had removal, did the area between your eyebrows swell at first too? At first I couldn’t feel the pain because of the anesthesia, but gradually my nasal tip started hurting with tingling and stinging sensations. So I took two Tylenol, and now, other than my nose feeling tight and swollen, it doesn’t hurt when I’m staying still. My runny nose was flowing like crazy too, but now maybe because of the medication it’s quiet, and it was runny mucus dripping more than blood lol They taped all the way down to my nostrils, so it’s a bit hard to breathe through my mouth. I’m really hoping it settles into a pretty shape. For those who had removal, how long did you get antibiotic injections for? They told me to get them for about five days, but since I had the implant removed, I’m wondering if I really need them.. The hospital is far too, so I’m torn
