It wasn’t just that I hated my gums showing when I smiled; the shape of my gums was strange too, so gum contouring was recommended to me, and I had gum contouring done while undergoing orthodontic treatment I barely felt any pain during the surgery. Since they give you anesthetic injections, I guess that’s obviousㅋㅋ Anyway, it didn’t hurt much during the surgery, and as the anesthesia gradually started wearing off, the pain came.. If 10 is the maximum, it was around 5-6. It does hurt It’s good that my gums look neater, but because a lot of gum used to show when I smiled, it’s not like they don’t show at all now. Also, I didn’t know my teeth were this big, but once the gums were cut back, the large teeth became visible, so it was a bit startling. But that’s my own issue, so for people with small teeth, it probably won’t matter much! For now, I do recommend it, but people with a lot of gums?..ㅋㅋ Even if they cut some away with gum contouring, it doesn’t mean your gums won’t show at all when you smile. Just accept it, like this is my fate
