It was especially severe in photos. Maybe that’s why I barely have any pre-op photos without an appㅠㅠ Some acquaintances even said my facial asymmetry was really severe. On top of that, I started having pain in my left jaw, so I tried jaw correction, facial bone meridian massage, and so on for several years, and in the end I had double-jaw surgery and 2 types of facial contouring. .One week before surgery, I felt so unsettled. Since I’m 41, I was worried about skin sagging, the recovery period, and so on. Because of my age, I was also scared of a major change.. But on the actual surgery day, I didn’t think much, and they said, “You’ll feel sleepy soon,” so I said, “I think I’m getting sleepy,” and then I drifted off. And soon after, they woke me up, so I got up, but it was pretty hard. The hardest parts were waking up from anesthesia and being thirsty. I was told I even got irritated with the nurses, who had been so kind to me. It was probably during the process of the anesthesia wearing off, but I don’t remember well, so I felt so sorry.. I was hospitalized for 2 nights and 3 days, and it was really good while I was there. Maybe because I didn’t have a drain, it was more comfortable. I had almost no swelling until discharge. After discharge, the swelling peaked on days 5-7, and because I walked more than 5,000 steps every day, the swelling went down well. In conclusion, my asymmetry was corrected and my protruding lower jaw was corrected too. And what’s really amazing is, maybe because of the maxillary rotation effect.. My nostrils opened up completely, and since then I haven’t had a blocked nose even onceㅠㅠ I really love it, sincerely. From the front, I’m being told there’s no empty space on my face, and they say my side profile has become so pretty. It’s been exactly one month, but the after photos were taken before I reached one month haha I had sensation from after discharge, and if my overall sensation is 10, then it’s about 6-7? The palate is still a bit dull, but other than that, I don’t have any major side effects or anything like that. I wish I had done it sooner.
