It has been about two and a half years since the surgery, and I had silicone on the nasal bridge + septal cartilage and ear cartilage for the nasal tip. I don’t have any complications that require treatment, like inflammation, but from the time of the surgery, I didn’t like that it was too pointy and had a Gangnam-style look ㅠㅠ Even when I take the subway or bus, I’m always so conscious of it and feel like everyone is only looking at my nose, and mentally I’ve become so worn down...ㅋㅋㅋ ha... So for the past few months, I’ve been thinking a lot about whether to get revision surgery or remove everything ㅠㅠ But if I get revision surgery, the cost is also not insignificant, and I’m scared of side effects, so I started feeling like I’d rather just remove everything and go back to my natural state. So today I went to the hospital where I had my nose done and had a consultation. They said they would remove it without charging me, but they told me to sign a written waiver before doing it ㅠㅠ Because they can’t guarantee whether the shape will return to how it was originally. They said the silicone may have pressed down on the bone that was originally there, making it lower. Or it could become a little better than my old nose, or it could droop more; it’s a matter of luck, so they said they can’t carelessly tell me to remove it.. And originally I was thinking of getting filler after removing everything, but they said I would need to watch the progress for about 6 months for that too.. Removing silicone really isn’t easy either ㅠㅠㅠ What I’m most curious about is whether, after removing all the silicone and nasal tip cartilages, it goes back to the way it was originally. Or whether it becomes lower, or higher than before ㅠㅠ I heard that something like a capsule forms, so it doesn’t become lower than before. Is that true? Since I don’t have inflammation, I’m worried that touching it unnecessarily might make it worse... The thing I’m most scared of is the skin sagging and collapsing downward; At the current hospital, they aren’t saying anything like cartilage repositioning... Is it really okay to trust them and do it here..? Since it has been quite a while since my surgery, I have so many worries. Should I look for a hospital that is good at removal surgery, instead of the hospital that did the original surgery... Sigh ㅠㅠ I’m looking for any advice that could help. Please help meㅠㅠㅠㅠ
