In 2021, I had bimaxillary surgery at a certain university hospital, and my protruding mouth wasn’t even that severe. If it had been a private clinic, I would have been worried, but since it was a university hospital, I kept thinking they must have lots of experience and would take care of it well. It was just my fault. It was my surgery and my own face, so I should have paid the most attention, but I think there are more cases like mine than expected, people who ended up with a sunken, toothless-looking mouth..ㅠ Everyone, please research carefully before doing it. I was stressed about looking like an old lady and tried to just live with it, but my occlusion shifted and I developed an open bite, so I’m going through it again. It’s hard. Everyone in a similar situation, hang in there and let’s try again.
