Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

Removal review, day 9

In the end, I had removal too haha I had the 2 mm silicone and septal support removed! I removed them after 6 months, and the shape was okay, but I hated the foreign-body sensation, the hardness, and the fact that it looked like I had cosmetic surgery, so I removed them~ It was my 3rd surgery, and I’m satisfied. I wonder if it changed very slightly, but also maybe not; I think it’s about 95% back haha Before removing it, they said that because the tissue had been compressed by the silicone, the nasal bridge could get lower and the nasal tip could spread more, but I can’t tell if the dorsum got extremely slightly lower or not. It’s ambiguous. Of course it’s lower than when the silicone was in! I’ll just have to cover it with makeup haha As for the nasal tip, it still hurts a bit when I touch it, so I don’t touch it much, but it’s softer than when the septal support was in and a bit firmer than an unoperated nose. Still, at this levelㅠㅠ After the removal surgery there was almost no swelling, and I thought there was no bruising either, but when I took off the taping, there was some bruising on the nasal dorsum. It’s almost gone now. Oh, and I had open surgery 3 times, but it’s better than I expected. Since I had two open surgeries in a row, the scar showed no sign of disappearing, so I thought doing it a third time would ruin it, but maybe the doctor sutured it well because it seems a little better haha I had all 3 surgeries at the same hospital. The hospital is apparently on something like a cosmetic surgery blacklist, so I don’t really want to recommend it. If possible, do it where you had it done before~ I was debating whether to leave a review, but I remembered how I struggled emotionally for 6 months and found comfort reading reviews here, so I’m leaving one! If you had nose surgery and are really having a hard time, I think removal can be a good option! But look objectively at the original height of your nose and keep in mind that it may become a bit lower! I think it was around day 4; I secretly took the tape off at home and was shocked for about 10 minutesㅋㅋㅋ At that time, there was yellow bruising on the nasal dorsum, but swelling remained between the brows, so the glabella looked high and the dorsum looked sunken haha Only the nasal tip stood outㅋㅋ My original nasal tip was somewhat high, so I seriously had a mental breakdown, but when I imagined there was no yellow bruise and thought it would be okay once the swelling between the brows went down, then looked in the mirror objectively and took photos, it was okay. Now on day 9, the swelling between the brows has almost all gone down, the bruising has disappeared, and it’s better. I just listed everything I had been curious about before removal, so it got long. Now I should take care of my skin a bit haha I hope the open-surgery scar fades quickly and the inside of my nose heals. I’m never going near a cosmetic surgery clinic again! Everyone, stay strong!!
