It’s already been 3 months since the review I posted a few days after removing my nose implant^^ After the nose implant removal, I’ve been living very satisfied. First of all, I like that I feel so much more at ease mentally haha
About 9 years had passed after my rhinoplasty, and most of the problems that gradually appeared have improved now haha The silicone had pushed downward, creating a border on the nasal bridge, and something inside my nose looked like it was bulging as if it might break through. That improved almost immediately after removal, and now it’s completely improved haha The nasal bridge is smooth too haha The cartilage show-through at the nasal tip caused by the silicone continued to show even after removal. So I asked around, and people said you need to wait at least 3 months after removal for the show-through, so I kept waiting. As of now, it has become less visible than when the silicone was in. You really have to look closely to notice it, so for now I’m planning to live with it like this haha Right after removing the taping, I was really depressed about the shaved-down nasal bridge, but now the tissue has settled, so it’s something only I notice. The nasal bridge height has stayed about the same as it was around day 10 after removal up to now haha As for a pig nose, it lifts more softly than when the silicone was in, but it doesn’t go up perfectly.. Maybe it’s because I left the ear cartilage in the nasal tip and only removed the silicone from the nasal bridge haha Of course, compared with when I had silicone, it’s much lower and a bit broad. Still, I can live with this much; it’s okay. My surgical nose didn’t have a pretty feel either haha It was on the unattractive side..
After going through removal myself, what I think is: if the foreign-body sensation from silicone or other materials inside the nose is severe, or if inflammation or other problems are affecting your mental state or daily life, I recommend removal haha But if it’s hard for you to give up looking pretty appearance-wise even after removal, please think carefully about removal. It’s definitely true that compared with a silicone nose, it becomes lower and looks a bit softer/more gentle? haha Now it’s been about 3 months since removal, and I think I’ll be coming into this community less often haha Also.. even if you’re curious about the hospital where I had it removed, I won’t disclose the hospital information. I didn’t want to have it removed at the hospital where I had the surgery, but most hospitals in my area said they couldn’t do consultation for removal only, so I had no choice but to have it removed at the same hospital where I had the surgery. It seemed that the hospital where I had removal also only removes implants for people who had surgery there haha
