Nose (early removal - 1 month)

Hello! I had early nose implant removal, and most people seem to have it removed around 2-3 weeks, but for early removal, mine was on the later side, at 1 month! The reason was psychological~ The nasal bridge was silicone, the nasal tip had a septal support graft and ear cartilage, and I had everything completely removed!!

I still don’t know about any grinding down of the nasal bridge silicone area (I haven’t taken the taping off yet)

For the nasal tip, when removing the support graft, some people have their cartilages tied together and some don’t. I think I’ll be leaving a review as a case where the support graft was removed and the nasal tip cartilage was not tied, so I’m writing this post. (I’ll record it because I think I’ll probably read it again someday too)

I also discussed tying the alar cartilages with my doctor, and I was at a crossroads over whether or not I should leave something like thread in the nasal tip again. And the doctor said then they would try to proceed in a direction that avoids tying as much as possible, and in the end, they did not tie them. They said that if they tie them, the nasal tip may become more projected, but that not tying them doesn’t mean the nose will spread. I also saw my nasal tip after removal, and it just looked like a normal nasal tip that was swollen from being injured...(It did not spread)

I still haven’t removed the taping, so I don’t know exactly what it’s like, but unlike the concern that the nasal tip will spread if the cartilage isn’t tied? it is chubby and standing tall well, like when I first had rhinoplasty. I’m not sure how it will change as the swelling goes down and it gradually changes going forward, but to me, it didn’t feel seriously strange.

Oh, and while getting complete removal, I read a lot of information, and many people say that if you remove the silicone and nasal tip after tip manipulation, the nose can become upturned, and in my current state, my nose is slightly upturned too. But the feeling is that it’s not upturned to a degree that bothers me a lot, like when I first had rhinoplasty and the nasal bridge contracted so the nasal tip looked lifted!! If this... lasts forever, I’d be a bit flustered, but it’s not strange or upsetting to that extent, and it just feels like part of the recovery process;;; haha

I don’t know when my last review will be ㅠㅠ I want to wrap things up well and graduate from this community sob sob ㅠ Then I’ll leave another review next time
