What makes me realize all over again that the first clinic was really bad at surgery is that after my first surgery, the columellar scar was seriously red, but after removal, the scar actually became less visible..? Maybe the removal clinic cut out the columellar scar... My friends were like, why did your columellar scar disappear more when you opened your nose again with an open approachㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋthey asked if I got laser treatment... After taking out the septal cartilage, the long columella tucked right in (my original nose didn’t really have a columella) My nostrils show about as much as they did with the operated nose, so there’s a slight upturned-nose feel, but only I can notice it.. I think this is just because the first clinic cut too much alar cartilage and raised the nasolabial angle too much... My nostrils didn’t show at all and I had no visible columella, but they pulled the columella out like a witch nose and made it a pinched, arrow-shaped nose... At first, when the first clinic removed only the silicone early, right after taking it out my nose lifted, and my whole nose contracted like crazy and throbbed so much that I thought I’d die for over a month.. But now, after 6 months, I removed the septal cartilage and Medpor, and so far it hasn’t lifted.,. I don’t feel any contraction either,,, I can breathe well.. There’s no foreign-body sensation in my nose at all,,, my nose still presses down softly.. It just feels like my own nose.... And the pinching was really severe, but with just repositioning it has almost all loosened up, though it could still look that way because of residual swelling, so I’m going to keep watching it,, If it still looks like this after all the swelling goes down, then the pinching is almost 80% resolved...ㅜㅜ I’m so satisfied with this,, But the nasal height is higher and sharper than my pre-op nose,, so I hope that also gets lower, and I hope my nose spreads out a bit more softly....ㅠㅠ My nostrils changed from an 11-shape to a lying-down 11-shape, but they’re not round like before...ㅠㅠ
I absolutely don’t regret the removal, I only insanely regret the first surgery... I regret not giving up on the first clinic, somehow saving up money, doing an early removal, removing everything, and getting alar restoration back then.... Right now my nostrils aren’t lifted, but they show much more than before surgery or than with the operated nose, so if only this comes down a bit, I think I’ll live really satisfied...ㅜ
