17-Day Review After Complete Removal

I had Gore-Tex and a Medpor strut removed after 5 years because of a foreign-body sensation.

#First photo: natural nose - removed nose (day 13) My natural nose had a low nasal tip, was short, and looked blunt. I had never really thought that my nostrils were particularly visible, but after removal, my nostrils were visible, so when I compared, it seems my original nose had thick flesh on the alar side that covered the nostrils completely. But with my nose after removal now, all the flesh is gathered in the center of the nasal tip, so it feels like the alae have lifted and the nostrils show... It doesn’t look like a human nose, but slightly animal-like. In person, the nostrils are even more visible...ㅠㅠ From the side, the nasal tip is upturned, the height also didn’t get lower, and half of the nasal tip bulges upward. The area above the nasal bridge has been shaved in a curve like a banana, which makes the nose look even stranger

#Second photo: day 17 after removal The nasal bridge being shaved down, looking wide and dull, has become familiar + swelling has gone down, so it looks somewhat okay, and the nasal tip seems slightly lower, but the upturn is the same. From the front, just a few days ago the columella had come down more, but suddenly starting today, maybe it’s just my feeling, the columella area pulls whenever I move my mouth, and when I took a photo, it looks like the columella has gone in more ㅠㅠ I thought that if the columella and alae became level, the nostrils would be less visible, but they show more.... Before surgery, the nostrils looked like ㅡ ㅡ, but now they look like ㅇ ㅇ (a sideways number 8 shape), like a bull’s nose...

Even now I’m so bothered by my nostrils showing, and I wonder if it’s true that they lift more when the contraction phase comes... The doctor also said we have to watch whether it lifts more, and didn’t say it won’t lift, so I’m scared day by day... So far, there isn’t severe pulling, and when I wake up in the morning, my whole face is swollen, my nose is swollen too, and it’s firmer and more lifted than the day before, but by around the afternoon it seems to come down slightly. (In the morning, it’s truly pig-like) Sometimes the nasal bridge and dorsum pull slightly, but I don’t feel it much; for the columella, the opened area had been pulling, but starting today it pulls a bit more. Is it contractionㅜㅜ

I had scar tissue even before removal, so that scar tissue is still there now. Before removal, it was attached to the implant and hard, but now if I press it with my finger it’s soft, and if I grasp it like pinching with tongs, it’s clumped firmly. On both sides of the nasal tip and in the center. The columella has been hard since right after removal, and exactly from the point where the nasal tip and columella meet, it’s extremely hard as if something is inside.

My nose must not lift any more from here, so please tell me if you’ve experienced the contraction phase!!! I know it varies by personㅠㅠ Does new scar tissue form on top of the scar tissue that was already there?? People say that what lifts during the contraction phase comes back down, but the doctor didn’t say that, so I’m even more anxious.. It’s already lifted now, and they say it can lift more ㅠㅠ My philtrum also looks extremely long, maybe because my nose got shorter... They said they don’t prescribe Rizaben because it has no effect, so for now I’m just taking vitamins and various other things. I’m trying to keep my nose warm as much as possible, and I apply a hot pack to my nose morning and evening.
