I started partial orthodontic treatment because of my bunny-like front teeth and because my upper and lower teeth did not occlude properly I really went around to so many dental clinics, and every place was so different.. Some places recommended extractions, but my current dental clinic said they could finish the treatment without extractions and in just 10 months, so I started without hesitation When I first started orthodontic treatment, I felt pleased and proud seeing my teeth get prettier day by day But what I realized in the finishing stage is that once you start orthodontic treatment, you have to manage it for life~ They said I have to wear a fixed lingual retainer for life and also wear a retainer when sleeping. I hope anyone starting orthodontic treatment thinks carefully!! Orthodontic force does not last forever, and you have to keep managing it continuously!
