Because of malocclusion and a protruding lower jaw, my jaw had been a real complex since I was young ㅠㅠㅠ Especially my side profile looked so ugly to me that whenever I took photos, I always hid it with my hair or used Photoshop. My complex was so severe that I even deleted the originals of any photos that weren’t Photoshopped ㅠㅠ
I had surgery in April. Right after surgery at first, I truly experienced hell... For a week, the pain was so bad that I even had suicidal thoughts... They prescribed Tylenol, but it didn’t work at all.. The pain lasted exactly one week ㅠㅠ
Now almost all the swelling has gone down, and I can chew even hard things like jerky well. Now when taking photos, I can naturally show my side profile and smile too haha. Ah, I did lose quite a lot of cheek fat, but I think I can just gain a little weight!
