It’s already almost been 3 years since I had double-jaw surgery. Until I entered college, whenever I vaguely saw pretty people, I’d think, “They’re pretty, must be nice,” and the reason I couldn’t date was because my self-esteem was low. But after double-jaw surgery, once I learned how to take care of my appearance, I ended up meeting the kind of boyfriend I wanted, and I’ve become more confident about myself and started thinking about a more glamorous future. Liking glamorous things could be a good thing, but because wherever I go I hear that I’m pretty, I keep wanting to become prettier, and I’m worried that when I go to new gatherings, my desire to be the prettiest there will make me get more plastic surgery. Actually, even after double-jaw surgery, I had several other cosmetic surgeries. My nose was pretty, but because I wanted it to look a little more refined, I had alar reduction at a clinic known for very natural results (it only got rid of a complex that only I could notice, and it became more refined), forehead reduction (I used to hear a lot that my forehead was pretty, but I hated having a long face, so I wanted it to look smaller. If I could go back, I don’t think I’d do it), and breast augmentation (it gave me a lot of confidence as a woman. Since I was already on the larger side, the feel after surgery is also natural and I’m satisfied, but I’m starting to feel disgusted by the stares from middle-aged and older men). Now I’m planning cheekbone surgery, so I’m looking into it. I’m dreaming of becoming prettier, taking better care of myself, and having a glamorous future, but I feel like I may not be doing the right thing.. The double-jaw surgery went well. I had it done at ㄴㅅ Dental Clinic in Sinnonhyeon, and although I went through a lot, in the end it looks so natural that even my friends didn’t notice and just thought I lost weight and became prettier. I have no sensory abnormalities at all, and I can chew hard foods just fine. I think maybe I keep thinking about plastic surgery because I haven’t had any failed surgeries.. If anyone has had a failed cheekbone surgery, could you please leave a comment?
