I had a surgery I hadn’t planned on, and already a year has passed. For the first two days, I couldn’t even speak because of the tube inserted during anesthesia, and after that my face swelled severely, so I had to stay shut inside the house. I remember being led outside by my younger sibling, wearing a mask, and crying because of people’s stares... I had put down a deposit for square jaw surgery, but old memories came back and I ran away.. After going through all this suffering, I didn’t really feel much change, and people around me don’t notice either. But when I went to the hospital and had a CT scan, they said it had been reduced by 1.1 cm (twice as much as other people).. Hearing that did make me think I was glad I did it, but I’m also a little dissatisfied. Right after surgery, my cheekbones were narrower than my cheeks, so it looked like it would be dramatic if I just lost weight, but then it gradually felt like they were spreading out, and in the end they stopped at a point where they protrude just a little more than my cheek line. Please keep this in mind.
