Silicone 4 mm + Ear Cartilage, I Had Everything Removed at the Same Place I Got It Done…

It had been 6-7 years since my nose surgery.

I had 4 mm silicone, ear cartilage for the nasal tip, and a columellar strut, and I had everything completely removed. My operated nose wasn’t an amazingly pretty shape for a surgically done nose, but my original nose wasn’t pretty either, so I lived fairly satisfied with the higher nasal bridge.

But recently, when taking selfies, I could noticeably see that my nose was crooked. The silicone had shifted to the side, so the nasal bridge looked deviated. I hadn’t paid much attention to my nose, and I hadn’t felt inflammation or any other aftereffects, so I had been paying even less attention to it.

But because the crookedness was clearly visible in photos, I visited the hospital where I had my nose done before and had everything removed, paying only about the anesthesia fee. It was a private clinic, and I was so relieved it was still there even after several years. I saw reviews for hospitals specializing in removal, and a lot of people go to them ㅠ but the cost was an issue, and when I visited, the doctor said he would do it, so I just had it removed at the same place I had it done. What I’m really grateful for is that there was no reluctance or anything like that; he confirmed that it was crooked and said he would remove it right away without any particular trouble. It had been a long time, but he only charged about the anesthesia fee for removal... If there are no problems while checking the progress, I feel like bowing to him in thanks.

After surgery, they showed me the removed silicone and ear cartilage, and it was gross...

It was removed through an open approach, and right now, aside from the area near my eyes being pulled slightly so it looks like I had epicanthoplasty lol, I can’t really tell because it’s taped. There is a little bleeding, and since it’s the first day, because of swelling, the height doesn’t look changed either. I can feel that the nasal bridge is bulky. But my nose feels really light. The bridge will get lower by 4 mm, right lol; Since it’s the first day, there isn’t much to say. I’ll post a review as things progress.
