At first, the swelling was severe and the bruising was really bad, so I thought maybe I shouldn’t have done it. But after about 3 months post-op, my face started settling into place, and these days I often hear that my face has gotten smaller. I had the surgery in March, and lately it definitely looks different even when I take photos. My 45-degree cheekbones used to protrude a bit, but I can clearly see that they’re gone now.
