I went for a revision surgery consultation, and as many people have said, the price is quite high! I thought the consultation was worth the 10,000 won fee. It probably took about an hour, and I think I had a total of three consultations in the order of manager-doctor-manager. The doctor explained things to me, even someone like me who works in medical billing, using specific terms and examples, which made me trust him a lot. But while I trusted the doctor during the consultation, that trust seemed to drop a little when I talked to the manager..? They showed me before-and-after photos of patients lying on the operating table and brushed it off by saying they were their nephew. I didn’t think much of it at first, but when they suddenly said, "Oh, we could take this photo because it was my nephew~," it started to feel like the person in the saved photos on my phone might end up being me..? It also made me wonder, can they really bring a phone into the operating room and take photos of a patient’s face? Anyway, it all felt kind of eerie.
