Surgery 1/11 Removal 1/30
The reason I had early removal and the surgical method, etc. are detailed in my previous post.
Today was day 4, so I went in and had the splint and taping removed. I had the nasal bridge silicone removed, and they said that rather than removing all of the ear cartilage, it would be better to leave the necessary parts for shape, so only part of it was removed, and the ear cartilage strut was lowered to half of what it had been.
As soon as the splint was removed, my nasal bridge immediately returned to my original low nasal bridge. I felt like I had returned to a gentler impression, so I was very, very relieved, and my mind immediately felt at ease..
The nasal tip is swollen right now, so the shape is not very visible. My original nose had a drooping nasal tip and was a slightly spread, bulbous-nose style, so the doctor said they would use ear cartilage to lightly support it just enough so the nose would not spread. Once the swelling goes down, I think the nasal tip will look slightly prettier than my original nose, so I am satisfied with this part tooㅠㅠㅠ
When I think about the money I wasted and the emotional stress I went through during the whole month of January, I feel so pathetic. Still, I am so relieved that I made up my mind quickly and had early removal.
The clinic that removed it is the place where I had my surgery. It is not a clinic specializing in removal. They did it for free, and even though it was simple change of mind, they removed it right away without arguing, so I am grateful.
All stitches will be removed in 7 days. I will post another review then.
Oh, lastly. For those thinking about early removal, I hope you definitely remove it within 3 weeks.. And if your face has a cute, gentle impression, seriously! Have surgery while considering that your impression may change.
