Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

I had everything removed today

I had the removal done today.. Septal support graft, silicone, osteotomy refinement, mesh. I didn’t even know there was mesh originally, but during surgery I woke up quickly from anesthesia, and when I came to, the director said there had been mesh. Since it had been a little over 2 months since the surgery, I think it was fortunate that there were no adhesions. For the surgery, I changed clothes in the recovery room, had a brief consultation with the director, and then went into surgery. I had sedation anesthesia, so I slept and woke up. I woke up around the time they were stitching me up, so enduring it was a little hard. After the surgery ended, I recovered a bit in the recovery room, looked in the mirror, and then went to see the director for a progress check. The director said the removal went well and showed me the silicone and everything. They also checked whether I could make a pig nose.. haha They said later, when the contracture phase comes, there are people who get anxious because their nose feels hard.

I had been anxious about whether inflammation would come or not, so after removing everything I do feel relieved, but at the hospital where I had my first surgery they shaved down my hump, and maybe because of that, my nose has become broad and flat... As soon as I came to the surgery recovery room, I looked at my nose in the mirror, and somehow it looked flat. In the photo I attached now it looks okay because it’s swollen, but I can’t forget the nose I saw right after surgery when there was almost no swelling... I really wish I could go back to before the surgery. I regret it so much.....
