Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

One month after removal

Natural nose

Had a hump and a nose with the columella slightly hanging down

First surgery   6–9 years ago (don’t remember well) Open approach Hump rasping (no osteotomy) Silicone Septal extension with septal cartilage Cap graft with septal cartilage

Removal surgery

Open approach

Smoothing the rasped nasal bridge Removal of all grafted cartilage Cartilage repositioning

------------ Decided on surgery because the silicone showed through at the nasal bridge and glabella (There were other small issues too) Never had inflammation

I was trembling because it was a septal extension, which they say causes severe cartilage damage, but maybe because my nasal tip was not originally low and my nasolabial angle was on the small side, my nose did not lift up right after surgery The columella that had been raised during the first surgery came down, and the nasal alae feel slimmer than my natural nose. The nasal bridge became lower and flatter because it was smoothed. The area where the hump had been is diamond-shaped. It doesn’t bother me now, but if swelling goes down more and it becomes really prominent, I think I’ll be pretty annoyed There is still pain inside the nose, around the alar cartilage, and on the nasal bridge This is the time when it should be contracting a lot and becoming firm, but I only feel tightness around the columella and nostrils, and I don’t feel a major shape change I think it’s because of my natural nose + skin/tissue quality “As of now,” I can give my satisfaction with the shape five stars

I cannot share the hospital or price
