I had surgery during Lunar New Year in 2017, and now that more than 2 years have passed, I’m doing very well.
It’s also been almost 2 years since I visited this community~ Back then, I got a lot of information here too.
The reason I had surgery was that around Christmas 2016, the contracture symptoms were very severe, and the glabella area was very swollen from inflammation and also felt hot~ The shape of my nose was becoming uneven in the nostrils and was lifting upward like an upturned nose too.
I happened to see something I wrote on my blog at the time of surgery today, and I really can’t even remember whether I ever suffered from contracture.. The blackheads on my nose were also very severe, but they improved a lot, and strangely, my sinusitis and rhinitis symptoms disappeared too.
At that time, I had consultations at four places: Jin Hong-ryul, Kook Won-seok, Grand Plastic Surgery (the hospital where I had my first surgery), and Seo Sang-woo, and I had surgery with Dr. Seo Sang-woo.
After surgery, there was no pain, no swelling, and no splint was applied~ Looking back, I felt I had made a really good decision.
Dr. Jin Hong-ryul said I would need to remove rib cartilage and do it again, and Dr. Kook Won-seok also talked about revision surgery with ear cartilage, but only Dr. Seo Sang-woo talked about clean removal without adding anything, so I remember choosing this place.
I added photos~ They are the front view, side view, and columellar scar 2 years after surgery. You really have to look ve~~~ry closely to see it, and the scar isn’t visible.
