Eye Surgery Considerations

Review of Guk Won-seok from a community

I had a consultation for removing my nasal implant, and they explained the reasons why I had been feeling foreign-body sensations and similar issues. They said inflammation response and inflammation are different. It seemed like there had been an inflammatory response, and if that repeats, it could lead to inflammation/contracture. Personally, I was worried that removing the septal cartilage might cause collapse or shape problems. But they said the cartilage is being pressed by the silicone, and even if the silicone is removed, the cartilage won't collapse. If the shape looks odd, they would reuse the harvested septal cartilage for support. Because of that concern, they recommended an open approach. They showed photos.

I think the consultation was about 5 minutes with the consultation manager, about 25 minutes with the director, and then 3 more minutes with the consultation manager. From reviews, I had seen people say the director has a scolding tone or a professor-like tone when speaking, but there was no scolding. I do think I understand what they meant by that feeling, though. I recommend learning the basic terminology before you go. The consultation tended to proceed with questions like, 'If we do it this way, what do you think will happen?' when explaining things. But it seemed like he wasn't very keen on being asked a lot of questions.
