I didn’t know anything and just got it done at the biggest clinic near my house, and what I only found out after paying and already starting orthodontic treatment was that it was a clinic specializing in implants. To get straight to the point, it was totally botched. My upper and lower teeth not fitting together was just the basics, and my maxilla was horizontal, but my lower jaw was tilted to the left, so I should have had something like jaw correction, but they didn’t do that either. Since my left molars (upper and lower) wouldn’t meet, they slightly extruded the lower molars upward (so the teeth became higher) to force them to bite together, but even that wasn’t done well, so it’s very uncomfortable to chew food on the left side. Also, my jaw is very small, so I feel like I probably didn’t need to have 2 lower teeth extracted, but they did it anyway, so my lower teeth feel like they’re deep inside my mouth? When someone with such a small jaw even has extractions, the teeth move inward, the lips become thinner, the philtrum looks longer, and anyway, it wasn’t good. The decisive thing was that after finishing orthodontic treatment, I drank alcohol and fell on my face, so the teeth on the right side among my upper teeth got pushed inward. When you look at my teeth from the front, they aren’t straight. My money ㅠ I’m going to save up and get partial orthodontic treatment..
