My upper teeth protruded a lot compared with my lower jaw, so I got orthodontic treatment. I had two upper premolars extracted and lived with braces on. The period during orthodontic treatment was really uncomfortable. First of all, about once every two weeks I went in to have the braces tightened more strongly, and after they tightened them like that, it was hard to even eat rice that day, and for about 2-3 days I only ate soft foods. Food also got stuck a lot between the braces, so brushing my teeth took a long time. Now that the orthodontic treatment is finished, the shape looks much prettier. But I do feel like my teeth are definitely weaker. The result is good, but when I think about the money and time, if I could go back to before treatment, I don’t think I would necessarily get orthodontic treatment.
