I finished orthodontic treatment and recently got retainers fitted. I’m using both types, a fixed retainer and a removable retainer. I’m worried the fixed one might break, and with the removable one, my pronunciation is even worse than when I had braces. When I searched online, I saw that quite a few people worry about pronunciation while wearing retainers. And when I have the removable retainer in, it’s inconvenient because I can’t eat food. They say you absolutely have to take it out before eatingㅠㅠ I feel anxious when I’m not wearing the retainer. It seems like teeth move faster than I expected. If I leave it out for just a few hours and put it back in, the retainer feels tight and uncomfortable ㅠㅠ Honestly, it feels like it was more comfortable when I had the braces on. It must be because it hasn’t been long yet. I should get used to it quickly! ㅠㅠㅋㅋㅋㅋ Everyone getting orthodontic treatment, hang in there
