Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

4-week review after full nose implant removal.

It has already been 4 weeks since I had my nasal implants removed.

I originally posted a few surgery reviews on an anti-plastic-surgery cafe, but they suddenly all got deleted.

I sent a message asking why they were deleted, but got no reply, and even after reading the notices, I don’t think I did anything wrong, so honestly...

So I’m posting this in a community.

4 years ago, I had surgery using straight silicone, donated costal cartilage, and septal cartilage, and I regretted it right away.

I was so bothered by how obviously “done” it looked, so I kept thinking I should remove it, I should remove it, but I put it off and 4 years passed.

I felt like I couldn’t delay it any longer, and I couldn’t live my whole life with silicone in my nose, so I had consultations at a few places and had everything removed at Sㅇ in Seocho-dong.

They removed all the capsule too.

Now I’ve recovered so much that I wonder if I really had surgery, and I’m going about daily life with no issues at all.

The nose shape is almost the same as when the splint was removed.

I’m not sure whether it will stay like this for years, or whether more swelling will go down.

What’s certain is that it’s better and higher than my original nose.

Every time I wash my face, I keep touching the nasal bridge area.

Did they really take the silicone out? No matter how much I touch it, it doesn’t feel like there’s silicone? I keep touching it like that.

What I was most worried about with removal surgery was that after removal, my nasal bridge would collapse or my nose shape would become strange,

but far from becoming strange, it actually became much better than my original nose.

The nasal bridge area also feels like it has come back to life somehow,

and for the nasal tip, I don’t know if it’s swelling, tissue filling in, scar tissue, or what,

but it definitely got higher lolololol

I’d be fine if it stayed like this, and I don’t mind if it goes down a bit either.

However, the scar at the nasal incision area has become a little darker ㅠㅠ

It has only been 1 month since surgery, so I’m hoping it will lighten from now on.

I think I should buy some scar ointment and apply it.

Please don’t worry too much about nose removal surgery.

In my opinion, unless a lot of the hump area was shaved down or there were major complications,

there don’t seem to be many problems.

But I thought the nose would become soft right away after removal, yet even after a month, it’s still hard.

After reading other people’s reviews, I think I’ll need to wait at least another year.

Among the 4 photos, the last one is my original nose lol
