It’s day 14 now, and the swelling and bruising are almost gone, so I’m posting a review! The swelling goes down day by day, so I tried putting on a little makeup to cover the bruises. They aren’t completely covered, but they don’t show at all! For about a week after surgery, I had a pulling sensation along the bridge of my nose, but now, other than discomfort in the columella area (I can’t make facial expressions or smileㅜㅜ), it doesn’t interfere with daily life at all.
I wanted to recover quickly, so I bought a lot of pumpkin juice, but I barely drank it haha I think you just need to do what the hospital tells you. I only did warm/cold compresses until day 4. For removal surgery, I wonder if the nasal tissue just finds its place on its own afterward, even if you don’t really do anything else. I did take my medication properly!
The director said a contracture phase would come, but so far I don’t have any such symptoms, and my nasal tip isn’t hard either, so I’m hoping it won’t come. I really like the current height of my bridge and nasal tip, but surely it’ll go down more, right? I’m getting greedy and hoping it doesn’t get any lower ..!
Before removal surgery, I also suffered from insomnia and spent all day holding onto this communityㅜㅜ Once I actually had it done, I don’t think it was a surgery worth worrying that much about ;; Anyway, I hope this helps those who are about to have surgery! It will go well, so don’t worry ◡̈
