In 2008, because of a hump nose, I had nasal bridge osteotomy, the nasal tip fixed with septal cartilage, and a 1 mm silicone implant inserted. From the beginning, my nasal bridge was slightly crooked, so that was not completely corrected, but I thought getting the hump nose surgery was a good decision. There were times when the nasal tip became red or when the side where the silicone was placed in the nasal bridge sometimes felt like it was showing through, but I liked the shape of my nose and had been doing fine. Then, in the year it had been 10 years, a side effect suddenly appeared where the area between my eyebrows gradually started swelling up. One day it swelled so much that the height beside both eyes and my nose became about the same. Should I say it looked like a beast's face? It was very swollen, almost like someone who had just had surgery, and fluid started collecting in the nasal bridge. I went to the hospital where I had the surgery, had the fluid drained with a syringe, took medication, and held out, but the doctor said it seemed like inflammation had developed and suggested removing the silicone, so only the silicone was removed through an incision inside the nostril. I'm glad I removed it then, and although my nasal bridge feels a little lower than before, it looks much more natural, so I'm satisfied. People don't even know I had nose surgery haha If you develop side effects, get it removed quickly!!
