It’s been one week since I had the donated costal cartilage and silicone removed. I went in today and had the stitches and cotton packing taken out.
Because my first-surgery hospital put in a wide silicone implant, my nasal bridge had been shaved down a lot ㅠㅠ So for several days, I really didn’t want to look in the mirror lol. Because of the swelling and the sliced-looking shape, my nose looked so wide and big that I thought I looked like an elephant. But the swelling gradually started going down! Today, after getting the cotton packing and stitches removed, I could breathe well, and the swelling had gone down to some extent, so I was so happy, seriously ㅠ And more than anything, my nostrils came back too ㅠㅠ It was really amazing. It’s only been one week, so I’ll upload photos at the one-month mark! Right now, I’m completely satisfied!
