<Side view><5/16 front view>The reason for surgery, pre-op photos, etc. are in my previous post!
After removing the splint on Thursday, the swelling has been going down little by little. I like the side profile of my nose right now, but the swelling will keep going down.. For the front view, I really hope it goes down. It's completely blunt and bulbous haha As for bruising, I still have some dark bruising around the eyes, and yellow bruising under the eyes toward the front cheek and cheekbone area. There is also yellow bruising left on the nose.
My nose still hurts if I touch it, so I put toner on cotton and wipe it very lightly, almost just brushing over it!
If I eat a lot? eat for a long time or chew something, the nasal bone areas on both sides below the glabella sometimes throb (right now). I sleep lying down, have been walking several kilometers a day since the day of surgery, eat better than usual, and take my medicine well, so the swelling seems to be going down well.
My facial swelling is still a bit tight, so it feels strange when washing my face, but it should go down soon, right?
I'll have the internal nasal stitches removed next week and come back with another review! Everyone, have a great weekend^^
(For reference, my original nose developed irregularities on the nasal dorsum in an S-line after septal deviation surgery in 2010, so I think those may show again once the swelling goes down ..:-) haha)
