Hello!! I finally had only the silicone removeddddd
I didn’t have contracture or inflammation or anything like that, but as I get older, I find myself wanting a more natural-looking face, and I really hated the silicone standing out so obviously!!!! Maybe because my midface is long, my nose was pretty, but it made my face look long, so I decided to do it..
Anyway, I just had it removed today. 10 years ago, I had silicone + septal cartilage + reduction surgery.
**This time, I only removed the silicone. I left the nasal tip alone!
For the removal, I had silicone removal + smoothing of uneven bone. That’s what I had done.
There was no contracture or inflammation. Sometimes I felt a tightening sensation, but they said that just by looking, it definitely did not seem like inflammation.
As I get older, I’m drawn to a more natural face.. I had revision surgery on my eyes too lol And I removed the silicone from my nose too lolol

Anyway, I don’t remember whether the hump was shaved down, but after my first surgery, at first I heard so many times that I looked like Seo In-young without makeup lol. Now it feels too strong. Just the nose stands out. It strongly gives an Aebong-like feeling, so ㅠ

Instead of the hospital where I originally had it done, I looked into the three major well-known places in a community, but they were ridiculously expensive.. So I looked into other hospitals famous for revision surgery and decided to have the removal done at the place where my dad had eye surgery lol
I went through with it yesterday ㅠㅠ Because of the cotton packing, it is seriously insanely uncomfortable, like I’m about to die.

First of all, the director is extremely meticulous. Truly. He has a smiling face, and during the consultation, there was 0.000001 sign of irritation or annoyance. He asked me three times if I had any more questions. I’ve had so many consultations that felt mechanical and where I paid consultation fees that felt wasted, so when I meet a director like this, I end up praising them lol Anyway, he calmly explained how the surgery would proceed, what method would be used after removal for the incision, how long the cotton packing would stay in, and that he would check the splint and proceed. It wasn’t like, “Just trust me and follow me, I’m the best.” He pointed out my issues, recommended only the parts I needed, and the way he tried to make as much effort as possible and go in a good direction felt honest and trustworthy.
And one of the nurses in the operating room is really kind. Even when my dad had surgery and acted a bit like a difficult patient, she handled everything without showing even one irritated expression, so she was someone I felt sorry to keep calling. This time, even when I whined asking her to remove the nasal packing, she said there was nothing that could be done, with not a single irritated look on her face, so even though she couldn’t remove the packing, it made me think I should try to endure it lol. But in the end, I decided to remove it early. Anyway, the staff overall are kind.
Among all the places where I’ve had surgery here and there, this is the first place where I’ve seen such a kind operating room nurse. Seriously lol
Even during surgery, they disinfected me very carefully, good.
I don’t know if I just happened to meet only good people, but overall they were kind, so I liked it.
The surgery was done under sedation, and when I woke up in the middle, I saw that there was a tube like a hose in my mouth, maybe to secure my airway. What was really good about this part too was that when I’m under sedation, there have been times when I couldn’t breathe properly, and I’m not good at breathing through my mouth, so I was really worried, but when I woke up around the time they were almost finishing, they didn’t put me back under sedation, and when I mumbled, they removed the tube so I could speak comfortably. Seriously, this kind of attentiveness.. so awesome... I’m touched by even small things like this lol
Maybe I’ve only had surgery at places that were too cold and harsh lol

But to that extent, in terms of service and character, I really felt that I made the right choice choosing this hospital.
For now, I have the splint on, so I mostly wrote about the hospital review, and let’s see the line and the nose after taking off the splint. Whew
