Review as I enter week 3 after removal

Hello A week ago, I wrote a review after surgery and splint removal, and I’m posting another review for week 3 after removal I had the surgery in May, and I wrote the first review when it had been about 2 weeks Now the major swelling and bruising are almost all gone Personally, I can see a very faint yellow bruise and have only slight swelling at the nasal tip The bridge area seems like it’s slowly filling in, or maybe not haha It still doesn’t feel like the contour is completely defined yet. I’m hoping positively that once even the slight swelling goes down, the contour will come back too haha For before and after, I think you can compare by looking at my previous review post For me, I think the contraction phase started a little after day 10. From then on, the nasal tip gradually became firmer and I had a bit of a pulling sensation. Now, when I’m still or living normally, I don’t really notice it, but if I raise my eyebrows or bend down to wash my hair, I feel a little stiffness When I take a deep breath, I also feel a slight stiffness Other than that, there are no major discomforts The nasal tip upturning did happen very slightly, really subtly, to the point only I can notice it. I don’t think it’s severe And the shape of the nose really does change very subtly day by day in real time Some days it looks okay, and other days it seems not so much haha I’m hoping this part will also get better later once I start some massage and the scar tissue or slight swelling goes down I’m just going to think positively no matter what. If I get too stressed, I think both my body and mind will get exhausted Right now I’m not stressing, I’m eating good food, exercise is still too much so I’m walking a lot, and living like that Compared with when the splint was first removed, the swelling has gone down a lot and it seems to be settling into a more nose-like shape, so I’m posting this in case it might help everyone here For now, I’m quite satisfied, and as I said last time, if only the pulled-up right nostril improves a little, I couldn’t ask for more. Well, if it doesn’t, there’s nothing I can do; I’ll accept it as a medal from having had rhinoplasty and live with it lol

And after removal, my headaches, insomnia, and breathing all improved. It was really fascinating Personally, I think the silicone was pressing down, making it uncomfortable to breathe, so I had headaches and severe insomnia. The headaches weren’t severe, but the insomnia was really bad, and when I lay down to sleep, my heart kept pounding, but that completely disappeared From about a week after surgery, I started sleeping deeply, and when I lay down I would fall asleep within 20 minutes I’m really so satisfied with this part. The sebum on my face also decreased a lot I didn’t know the cause, but after removing it, I think it was because my breathing had not been smooth

I know very well that everyone here who is considering removal like I did may be spending nights in a lot of distress and worry, or having difficult days Still, please try to think as positively as possible, look into hospitals thoroughly and carefully, and I sincerely hope your surgery succeeds I also reduced a lot of my worries and found courage by reading posts and reviews from everyone here My contraction phase is still not completely over, and I still worry about how the shape of my nose will change going forward or whether there will be other side effects Still, let’s try to overcome this concern together! Please always stay healthy, and as the heat is coming these days, be careful of the heat and also be careful of COVID! Have a pleasant day^^
