-Two-month review after complete nose implant removal-
(Silicone + mesh removal + correction of contracted nose)
I think it had been over 10 years. In my early 20s, when I didn’t know much, I went to two plastic surgery clinics and got nose surgery at the one I was more drawn to~ For the past few years, I had felt like my nose was getting shorter and blunter, and in photos the silicone border looked prominent. It was obviously a surgically altered nose to anyone, but not a pretty one, so it stressed me out and I ended up having it removed.
It’s not that I had decided on removal from the start. I got tired while looking into revision surgery and just removed it -_-..
Now that I’ve had it removed, I feel at ease and it turned out better than expected(?), so I’m satisfied and leaving a review~! The reason I chose the clinic was that you can’t predict how it will look after removal until you actually remove it, but this was the only place where I had options, so I decided on it~
They only did local anesthesia on the nose under sedation, then showed me the removed appearance in a mirror while I was awake. If the nasal tip was upturned: removal + upturned nose correction. If the nasal bridge was lower than expected: removal + buttock dermis. If after removal there was no nasal tip upturning and the bridge wasn’t low: removal only!!
In the end, after removal my nasal tip was upturned, so I had removal + upturned nose correction haha
I think I looked up more reviews after removal;; because I was curious about other people’s recovery periods..
What I felt after experiencing it is that removing silicone doesn’t cause a disaster. Swelling lasts longer than expected. After exercising and the swelling goes down, I’m satisfied haha When I wake up in the morning -_- not so much.. And I realized that silicone sitting on the nasal bridge for many years(?) can press down on the bone~!!
The director at the clinic where I had it removed said the depressed nasal bridge would return to some extent over time, and now, two months later haha even though I can see it, it looks ordinary enough that other people wouldn’t know unless I told them~!!
It doesn’t have that characteristically high, straight silicone look, but it has become a slightly prettier(?) nose than my original nose before surgery haha A famous place in Apgujeong for autologous dermis haha I can’t come in often, so I’m leaving a hint!
