Both times, it was removed with a closed approach.
Since the surgery was so long ago, considering adhesions of the ear cartilage + the nasal tip shape, they left the ear cartilage and only took the silicone right out.
The nasal tip is a bit upturned, but will it gradually come down???? I hope it comes downㅠㅜ If you’ve had surgery, please let me know~
The reason for removal was that because it was L-shaped, it gave me a straight nose shape, pressure at the nasal tip, and a droopy arrow-like nose when smiling (especially when smiling, the silicone showed very clearly, especially at the nasal tip)
Please keep in mind that I’m the type who swells a looot and these are photos right after surgery! I don’t feel anything at the nasal bridge, but my nasal tip is so tight and swollen that it hurts.. It’s swollen and tight, but as soon as it was removed, the feeling of having a big nail stuck in the very center of my face disappeared right away lololol
Because the distance between my eyes and eyebrows is short, and my brow bones protrude, I debated a lot until the very end about whether to get revision surgery or removal, but I got it removed because I didn’t want to worry about my nose anymore.
My natural nose wasn’t a bulbous nose, but it was small, short, and low.. Just that very common kind of nose.
