Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

Two months after total removal (silicone + septal cartilage + capsule)

I posted my 7-day and 1-month photos and reviews after removal in this community so they could be helpful to everyone ㅎ Thank you so much to those who saw them and those who encouraged me in the comments!

It has already been two months. Now there is no pain, and it feels soft and squishy. I still can’t make a pig nose or press hard, but the surface of the skin isn’t hard, and when I press lightly, it gives way. First of all, I like that the surface feels soft. It feels light and so comfortable.

My surgical nose looked obvious, and every time I took photos, the crooked outline showed, so I always covered and erased it with Photoshop, but now it’s natural without needing to do that.. (One person who is so happy after removal..)

It was hard to look people in the eyes too. Whenever the topic of noses came up, I would flinch and feel ashamed. Now I don’t need to do that anymore, so I just feel at ease..

I don’t think I had a contraction phase. It’s the same as the photos I posted at one month, other than swelling. The columella isn’t curling inward, and the nasal tip isn’t lifting. I’m thinking I’m so relieved I didn’t have a contraction phase. Other than the swelling going down compared with the beginning, making it slimmer and a bit lower, there have been no other changes. The inside of my nose is still sensitive, so I don’t touch it. I also don’t blow my nose much, and when it’s dry, I sometimes apply Fucidin inside. I’m planning to be as careful as possible for a year ㅠ The columellar scar is also covered just by reapplying whitening cream, so there’s no problem when I go out.

While going through this removal, I really thought a lot by myself.. I also realized that it’s better to live naturally and enhance my own individuality. It was truly a nose surgery that taught me a lot,, I will never have surgery again.

Now I’m leaving this final review because I really don’t plan to come into this community anymore. I want to leave all plastic surgery cafes and live while focusing on my own life.

I used to stop by often to give information and leave comments, but I felt so sorry because there are still so many people struggling because of their noses, just like I was two months ago ㅠ ㅠ It felt like seeing myself crying every dawn, regretting things and blaming myself.

Please definitely do a lot of footwork and dig up a lot of information, and meet several directors for consultations. Everyone has different individuality and styles, so even for removal, you need to do it with a director who suits you ㅠ I also visited around 10 places, including my first-surgery hospital, and chose carefully. (I ruled out my first-surgery hospital because I couldn’t trust them and communication didn’t work. They kept speaking as if, in the end, revision surgery was the answer;)

For those 고민 about removal, once you start thinking about removal, you end up doing it someday,, I really hope you find a good hospital and feel relieved. Unlike what you may be thinking, don’t be scared thinking, “If I have surgery, it’ll become low, ugly, and ruined,” like I did.. After removal, when you look in the mirror, you’ll think it harmonizes much better than the surgical nose and that it wasn’t a low nose but actually a pretty nose. That’s how it was for me ㅠㅠ

Everyone, stay strong. I’ll be rooting for you. I hope you get good results. * (I won’t share hospital information anymore.)
