Almost 2 Weeks After Nose Implant Removal

Hello, I received a lot of help from this community, so I’m writing a review too. I had my first nose surgery last September, and afterward my nose became too long, and the tip was crooked because the surgery went wrong, so I had removal surgery. Actually, even my natural nose had a decent line and was high enough that when I went places, people would look at my side profile and ask if it was a surgically done nose, but I had surgery because it looked bulbous from the front. At that time, everyone around me really tried to stop me from getting surgery ㅜ After nose surgery, I really didn’t want to go outside, and I was even grateful for masks to the point that I thought it was fortunate it was during COVID ㅜ So while spending depressing days, I thought I couldn’t go on like this and made up my mind that I absolutely had to remove it. Actually, since I’m in my early 20s, most people my age would definitely think about revision surgery, but I was sure that even if I had revision surgery, I would probably want to remove it. So I went to the hospital where I had my first surgery, but they only said they would do AS, and said things like if I removed it, the shape would be unpredictable, so I looked into hospitals specializing in removal. I didn’t want to do it there anyway. Starting from the 3-month mark, I went around for consultations, and after checking out a total of 4 hospitals, every hospital said that because it was removal after my first surgery, there wouldn’t be much shape change, and things like contracture, columellar retraction, or saddle nose wouldn’t happen. So I had surgery at the place I felt most drawn to and thought would be okay. The result is extremely satisfying! I can already see the shape of my natural nose, and it actually feels less spread out than my old bulbous nose? (The tip has dropped very slightly compared to before, but I think that’s because my nose was lengthened too much during the first surgery, so it still remains after removal.) I already have almost no swelling, and no one can tell I had surgery two weeks ago lol. The columellar scar isn’t visible either.. I had silicone, a 2 mm septal extension, and support strut removed, and it was a complete removal including the entire capsule. I think it would be hard for me to tell everyone the hospital information one by one in comments, so as a hint, it’s a hospital in Sinnonhyeon famous for removals! With this much, everyone knows, right? The nostril asymmetry that happened after my first surgery hasn’t returned perfectly, but I think this is truly a success, and I feel like I’ll really cherish my nose from now on. Everyone, please make sure to complete the required waiting period for removal, look into hospitals carefully, and I hope all of you succeed. (For reference, I had removal at 7 months.) If I can, I’ll also post a one-month follow-up. Fighting!!
