Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

Nasal hump surgery: silicone implant removal 3.

It's already week 2. I wanted to write about swelling, pain, and scar-related info. First, the hospital told me to be meticulous with taping (I keep it on while sleeping and take it off during the day when I'm active), and that also becomes a sign of recovery. At first, because of the swelling, the tape had to be ripped off in long strips, but little by little it's getting shorter. And it has to be pressed down firmly when applying it, but at first I was putting it on while screaming, and now it's at the point where I can just go, hmm~ and get through it? It hardly hurts anymore.... Recovery is about two weeks faster than with the silicone implant surgery. But I do need to be careful with the nasal mucosa, which was weakened by having surgery twice. During week 1, I smiled and a little blood showed through. I went to the hospital and got it disinfected;; They told me not to talk too much, but that's kind of hard. How am I supposed to not talk... I just talked. The shaved area of my nose was so much flatter than the silicone nose (the silicone one was really slim like a razor blade), so I was worried, but now that more than 97% of the swelling from the first day has gone down, it looks natural and slim. I don't know, maybe it can stop here, but it might go down even more. At first the tip was really like a cherry tomato, like it had been stung by a bee, and the bruise on the tip had turned red... but that bruise is all gone now, and there's no swelling. Right now, there are no signs that the tip will turn up and flare out. That was my biggest worry. I heard there might be a contraction phase like with a contracted nose.. I'm applying scar ointment to the columella. The scar there isn't red anymore and has become a little dark and pigmented. I guess the skin was damaged. I don't know what it is, so I bought the one the hospital told me to buy for 40,000 won. If I keep using expensive stuff consistently, I think it might return to a faint reddish color.

In conclusion, I'm fine so far.. I wonder if I can even say that I'm fine..? So far everything is good. I like that the nostrils aren't uneven, that there's no shaved bridge contour, and that the tip shape is properly set.. My overall image definitely changed. Before, I had a sharp look that seemed cold and intense, but now I lean more toward gentle..? The people around me say this makes me look younger and is better, so I guess that's why... With the silicone nose, it felt like, ah, this is starting now. But with this one, it definitely feels like, ah, this is over now, so each day feels more comfortable. I don't keep hovering in front of the mirror and I can just go about daily life normally. I gently remove sebum with oil and can even do light makeup now because it doesn't hurt anymore... Even the shower water hurt if I turned it on gently during week 1, but now I only feel the weight of the drops and there is no pain. By the way, during week 1 I only did ice packs for 20 minutes while sleeping If I eat something or get slightly irritated, my nose runs a lot. The hospital said it's okay to gently clean the nose with a cotton swab if the mucus gets sticky and crusts over so much that I can't breathe at all, so yesterday I gently picked my nose with a flashlight on too. A lot came out. How does it sound... I hope this helps as much as possible. =Until the stitches are removed, make sure to eat good meals for all three meals a day.. I used to just eat one meal carelessly, but eating 3 healthy meals a day really makes me improve day by day= +I'm attaching a photo I took while going out yesterday. The line is roughly like this.+
