I had nasal silicone + ear cartilage surgery for the nasal tip 10 years ago. I went to the hospital where I had the surgery for a consultation because I wanted to remove everything. The director told me to remove only the silicone, saying the nasal tip was autologous cartilage anyway, so it probably didn’t need to be removed. I said I wanted everything removed, but we decided to remove the silicone during surgery first and remove everything if the shape looked strange. In the end, the nasal tip was left as it was, but now that the silicone is out and only the nasal tip remains, I feel a foreign-body sensation. It feels pointy, hard, and my skin keeps feeling tight, so when I go to have the stitches removed in a week, I want to remove the nasal tip too... When I talked to the manager, she said why mess with the cartilage unnecessarily and told me to leave it alone, but I keep feeling uncomfortable...ㅠ Is there anyone in a similar situation to me... For those who left only the nasal tip, are you okay with the discomfort?
