Hello~ As of today, it has been 8 days since I had my nasal implant removed.
After removal, the swelling was so severe that it was really hard ㅠ I don't know if it was because of the swelling, but my weight increased by 1 kg every day, so on day 6,
I was shocked because I had gained 5 kg, but after moving around a lot, reducing how much I ate a bit, and drinking pumpkin juice, I lost 4 kg, thankfully...
(From days 1 to 4, I did cold compresses, and from day 5, I worked hard on warm compresses. I walked about 3 hours a day and kept standing up and moving because the swelling was so severe.)
First of all, on the day of surgery, I had a cold affecting my nose and throat, so my physical condition was really bad and I was very worried. But the hospital gave me an IV and took a lot of care of me,
so I just went ahead with it. Maybe that is why the swelling seems worse too.. Right now, scar tissue has formed inside my nose, and I have a lot of nasal discharge too..
There is a lot to worry about! I have finished all the prescription medication now, and I am disinfecting? with eye ointment 4 times a day. The day after surgery, I visited the hospital,
and they removed the pooled blood between my eyebrows and cleaned and disinfected the inside of my nose!!~ Because of the cold, they also gave me an IV and I received swelling laser treatment! Thank you, thank you ㅠㅠ
I still don't really know about the contraction phase or anything like that, and my current symptoms are that my nose stings, it hurts when I touch it, and the swelling is severe,
so I am enduring it, thinking it must be part of the healing process. Maybe because my nasal bones are thick, it seems like other people have a lot of swelling gone between the eyebrows by around day 7,
but mine is still very thick ㅠ If the swelling goes down from here, will it become a bit slimmer?,,,, Or is this the final result..
I look too much like a lion and a human-faced fish,,, upsetting,, I guess it is my fault for having thick bones ㅠㅠ..
I was really worried because I had a bulbous nose. But my husband said that even if I remove my nose implant and become a chubby-nosed ugly person, he would still love me, so I took strength from those words and removed it because I wanted to live healthily
without worrying about it. My nose is big because it was a bulbous nose ㅠㅠ Still, I feel at ease..
They removed an L-shaped 3 mm silicone implant and ear cartilage in pieces (closed approach), and they did cartilage repositioning. I had a consultation after surgery, but maybe because of the anesthesia,
I don't remember parts of it very well,, Around when will my nose enter a stable phase? Even after removing it, I still have a lot of worries..
After removal, around when do side effects such as nasal tip upturning, contracture, or saddle nose occur? Even after removal, I am so worried..
Should I start taking a separate anti-contracture medication now!! Please reply..
