My nose is high, but the hump was pretty severe, so I had osteotomy + 2 mm silicone + septal cartilage inserted. But a week later, after the splint came off, my nose hurt like it had been beaten up, and it felt tight and pulling ㅠㅠ I suddenly got scared, and more than anything, even though it was only 2 mm, since it started from between my eyebrows, my originally high nasal bridge looked like an Avatar, so I was sad ㅠㅠ When I went to the clinic and told them, they removed it early for me. I had it removed early after 10 days!! While doing it, they were worried the hump osteotomy area might be uneven, so they checked it while doing a little shaving, and I like it so much better now ㅠㅠ The tape is still on though!! I was really anxious about the silicone, and because of the tightness/pulling and my nasal tip getting red too, I worried a lot that it might be inflammation. But they said it didn’t seem like inflammation, and it seemed like a foreign-body reaction to the silicone. After taking it out, I feel relieved ㅠㅠ!! I had it removed yesterday, and today I don’t have swelling or pain anywhere, so I’m at work now :) If it hurts or anything, I think it’s better to resolve it quickly rather than endure it!
