Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

It’s been two months since removal

I was trying to remove something that was protruding inside my nose, but I became so worried that I felt like I couldn’t live with something in my nose forever... so I had it removed. There was no inflammation, and I liked the shape and the hospital, but I was just anxious, and since I decided to remove it, I wanted to make sure it was removed properly, so I went to one of the top three removal clinics.

In my case, mentally I’m more comfortable than before removal, but I’m not completely at ease yet. I think I’m still in the recovery period, so I feel very cautious, and I still have to go back to the hospitalㅠ

The reason I have to go back to the hospital isㅜㅠ this time, inside my nose... my own cartilage is sticking out on both sides. (It bothers me and hurts every time I pick my nose.. and this area usually feels itchy, so after about 4 more months, I’m planning to go to the hospital and ask them to remove it ㅠ.. This one thing is the only part I’m unhappy with after removal. The hospital said that if it’s uncomfortable later, they can do a simple procedure to cut it off. They said it’s normal tissue, so it can protrude, which made me feel a little relieved.)

My nasal tip is still hard, and I’m not sure about it lifting during the contracture period? To my eyes, I can only tell whether it looks swollen or not. I majored in art, so I’m good at observing, but I don’t really notice a difference. Everyone’s face swells when they wake up, right? For me, it’s about that much.

I had a short nose and bulbous nose, and had used donated costal cartilage, 3 mm silicone, and septal cartilage. It had been 3 years. At the time of removal, there had been a lot of cartilage resorption, so once everything was taken out, my nose collapsed (it was a bit shocking, but they said they treated it right away, so I felt relieved). They said they supported it with septal cartilage.

My face now is just my face. The scar is dark, but so what. The scar will fade with time, and time is passing even while I’m writing this post haha After rhinoplasty, I feel like I realized and learned so many things. I went through a lot emotionally, but I’m going to take this as a lesson in my life too. The world didn’t fall apart just because I had removal surgery.. I wasn’t originally going to write a review, but I saw so many people who were very scared and stressed, so I tried writing all this out in detail.
