Last October, with just the thought that I wanted to become prettier, I went in for a consultation, paid the deposit that same day, and had surgery. Silicone, ear cartilage, and septal cartilage were used. Even after all the swelling went down, whenever I looked in the mirror each day, rather than looking at my overall face, I was busy looking at my nose, and that’s how much it bothered me. I hated the feeling of pressure when a mask touched it, and I felt it was a nose that didn’t suit my image, so I endured it while telling myself I would absolutely remove it after 6 months ㅠ Once I actually lived with it, it seemed okay, but if it had truly been okay, I wouldn’t have worried about it at all. So this time I made up my mind and removed it. I still haven’t had the splint taken off, so it’s very swollen and I’m not sure about the shape yet, but I can clearly see that the bridge has become lower lol. The nasal tip shape has become round like my original nose. It also feels lighter. After the splint is removed, even if it’s not completely the same, I hope it comes out similar to my original nose. They said the surgery went well, and just in case, they prescribed anti-contracture medication as a preventive measure. I feel relieved after having everything removed, but I’m also scared because I don’t know how it will change as the swelling goes down. I wrote this in a very disorganized way, but I’m writing it in the hope that it helps even a little.
