I prefer a natural look, and the doctor also didn’t seem to particularly favor flashy outline eyes, so I trusted them with the procedure. In the end, I got a really natural, thin inner double eyelid that people wouldn’t notice unless I told them, which was exactly the result I wanted. The canthoplasty was more impressive than the double eyelid surgery. The inner, outer, and lower canthoplasty all opened up my eyes naturally and noticeably, so even though the line is thin, my eyes look about twice as big. There isn’t a single scarred area. I’m very, very satisfied. However, I think it took more than 8 months for all the swelling to go down.
