I had lower eyelid fat repositioning about 4 years ago. They also recommended fat grafting because my front cheek area was sunken, but I only had the repositioning. The result was good for me. The under-eye fat became flatter and the dark circles improved too. Since I did not get fat grafting, one side still showed a slight boundary even after surgery, but they had mentioned that during the consultation. It was not enough to bother me, so in terms of recovery and other aspects, I am glad I only did repositioning. Now that about 4 years have passed, it does feel like it has risen a little compared with the early period after surgery, but it still seems to be holding up well. I have not noticed any major problems, so I do not regret the surgery.
