I pursue a natural look, and the doctor didn’t seem to favor flashy outer-line eyes either, so I trusted them and went ahead. In the end it came out really natural, and I got a thin hidden double eyelid that no one would notice unless I said so, which is exactly what I wanted. The canthoplasty is more of an art than the double eyelid surgery. The inner, outer, and lower canthoplasty all opened up so naturally that even with a thin line, my eyes look like they got twice as big. There isn’t a single scar. I’m so, so satisfied. It just seems like it took more than 8 months for all the swelling to go down.
