I had under-eye fat repositioning about 4 years ago. They did also recommend fat grafting because my anterior cheekbones were somewhat sunken, but I only had the repositioning. For me, the effect was good. The under-eye fat became flat, and my dark circles improved too. Because I didn’t do fat grafting, one side still showed a slight boundary even after surgery, but that was something they had told me during the consultation. It isn’t noticeable enough to bother me, so in terms of recovery and several other aspects, I feel it was good that I only did the repositioning. After about 4 years, it does feel like it has come up very slightly compared with the early period after surgery, but I think it’s still maintaining well. I still don’t feel there are any major problem areas, so I don’t regret the surgery.
