I had surgery today, on the same day. Previously, aside from not liking the shape of my nasal tip, I didn’t have any side effects, but everywhere I went, they told me to remove the mesh inserted in my nasal tip, so after thinking it over, I decided on complete nasal tip removal. At first, the doctor tried to discourage me, saying I didn’t necessarily need to do it, but I decided to go ahead because of the mesh.
After the surgery, when I heard the results, there were really a lot of adhesions. They said the adhesions were so severe during removal that the mucous membrane and nasal septum had become weakened.. And the previous hospital had said they used a little mesh and did the nasal tip mostly with septal cartilage, but it was the opposite: they used a little septal cartilage and mostly used mesh.. (basically a mesh nose..) Ugh, I’m angry.
They said there were a lot of adhesions, but they removed almost all of the major material. I’m just gratefulㅠㅠ I’ll post another review later.
Before that, I went to that hospital because they initially said they wouldn’t use mesh.. I’m angry remembering how they changed their words on the day of surgery and said some mesh might be inserted. Please choose your first hospital carefully.
